The shell is made from a blend of 82 percent nylon and 18 percent polyurethane, and the filling is comprised of 100 percent recycled polystyrene beads. The beads have been trademarked in Japan as Powder Beads, and they are what give Mogu cushions their extreme softness and pliability. Though enjoyable by many, the pillow is not recommended for use by children under age three. Easy to care for, the pillow requires only spot cleaning.

My wife and I have two of these heart shaped pillows on our couch. We use them as back supports. They’re pretty comfortable. The pillows, filled with little beads in a pliable covering (kinda like spandex) are really soft and conform to your body easily. The pillows have held up well to use over the year and are still clean without any tears so far. Because the pillows are so soft, they are easily deformable and may not look like much of a heart depending how you last used them (though you can easily flatten them out again into a heart shape).
